Due to the DAO hardfork at block 1,920,000 there now exists 2 chains of public Ethereum – one is ethereum ETH and the other the non-fork chain is ethereum classic ETC.

Replay attacks

Users who have both ETH and ETC should be concerned with potential transaction replay attacks and take appropriate measures such as splitting and having different addresses in each chain to guard against them.

The chart above displays the percent of transactions for the past few days which were confirmed in one chain and replayed in another for approximately every 100 blocks. For users who are interested, this presents a good indication on how segregated the 2 chains are.
